Hi Team,

Can we use same Key for multiple purpose? I would like to use same key for Zabbix monitoring and Syslog.

hello @NIKHIL M K Yes, you can use the same key for multiple purposes, but it depends on the context and the type of key.

Now, If u're referring to a pre-shared key (PSK) or API token, and both Zabbix and ur Syslog system support using the same key format (like a shared secret or token), then technically it's possible. However, it's not recommended for security and auditing reasons , because using separate keys allows better tracking and isolation.....

if you are talking about API key, sure you can use same key for multiple purposes.
