2.5 POS issue

Hi,could I make communication well by

using two types one port 2.5 POS line card with the different wavelengh?

(short-Reach 1310nm SR-1 and long-reach 1550nm LR-2)

I think I can decrease the launch power of long-reach 2.5 pos card for mu purpose.How about the plan?

Can you pl. elaborate a little bit more?. Do you want to use 1310 and 1550 on two ends of the Point to point POS?

Mixing 1310 and 1550 is not a good idea, to start with.

What platform are you using? If you are using same Fiber pair for the TX,RX then Loss Budget is same @ both ends, How will 1550 @ one end and 1310 @ other end will help you? 1310 reception @ 1550 end will be poor enough to give you headache's all the time!!
