2501 Flash mem error

I am getting a check sum error on the flash memory.

Router boots up in BOOT mode. I tried to reload the

IOS after erasing the flash and failed.

I was using a TFTP server running on my laptop

connected to E0.

I can ping both directions. But when the file

transfer is supposed to start I get "file not found"

When you specify the file name, you need to make sure you include the filename with the extension ".bin". (.bin). See if this helps!

What tftp software are you using? I've used the free one from Solar Wind and I think it defaults to incoming files only. You have to change it to incoming/outgoing files. Don't forget to put your image in the root of the tftp directory. Something I've done once or twice myself :)
