2651XM DRAM issue

Hello,

I have a 2651XM router which has shipped with a 128 MB RAM. I want to upgrade this to 256 MB.

I have a 15-8693-01 memory card already present on the router . I inserted the 128 DRAM card got from cisco , but have some issues here... when the router boots up, it shows

C2600 platform with 262144 Kbytes of main memory

but after booting , the show version command shows,

cisco 2651XM (MPC860P) processor (revision 0x400) with 111616K/19456K

bytes of memory.

Both the memory cards are fine, as they work as standalone 128 MB cards, but when put together, shows only 128 MB on show version.

What exactly is the issue here.. am sure the 2651 supports 256 MB DRAM.

Please lemme know..

Raj,

I think the problem is due to DDTS CSCeg14149
