This probably is not the place to be asking... I've used third party ("guaranteed") memory with old, out of maintenace routers, with great success. Has anybody used third party memory with 28xx series routers?

Third party memories usually work fine with Cisco routers, but i have seen many cases where to save some buck you buy the memory, it works just fine, but later you get lot of memory errors and stuff, and finally when you call in for support, you could possibly have trouble with getting support, because you are using third party memory.

You can find Cisco refurbished original CF or some Smart Modular AVL Cisco approved memory in the market on this 28XX pretty easy:
