2960 Stack issue

Dears,

I have a stack of 8 switches the uplink to core is from 1st switch and from the 4th switch, do it will effect the traffic path????

Becz at present my ip phones are resetting and renewing the ip address when I disconnect one link from core the phones are OK.

how to justify the issue is from the switch stack..

Post the complete output to the command "sh etherchannel summary".

Dear Leo,

the core is not in VSS , it is standalone with HSRP configuration and the uplinks are normal trunks, ether channel is configured  between the CORE

I want to see the etherchannels status.  The comment above gives the impression that something could potentially be wrong with the etherchannels.
