I am in an environment that has quite a bit of multicast traffic. We use IGMP snooping on the switches to control multicast broadcasts from producing unnecessary traffic. In the past, we have used 3850's as access switches since the older 2960's wouldn't be able to handle too much IGMP snooping.
Has anyone tried IGMP snooping on 2960x's with good luck? How is the switches performance?
