3640 IOS problem

Hi,

I up loaded a wrong IOS on my 3640 router and it is not showing ATM module in IOS. IOS installed is Version 12.3(19), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2). I have NM-1A-OC3MM module. Can someone tell me correct IOS.

Hi Meer ,

can you paste show diag of the router.

Your router has 64Mb DRAM and 10Mb flash.

You can load following ios.

1.c3640-jk2s-mz.121-5.YD6

Min DRAM -64 M and flash - 16M

2.c3640-jk2s-mz.121-5.XM7

Min DRAM -64 M and flash - 16M

3.c3640-jk2s-mz.121-3a.XI8

Min DRAM -64 M and flash - 16M

Hi Meer ,

How many modules are installed in router and what are those .which ios you are using in router.

Are you going to install only NM-1A-OC3MM in router.What is the flash and RAM capacity of the router.

I can help you after getting the above info.

You can load the following ios which supports NM-1A-OC3MM module.

1.c3640-jk9s-mz.123-14.T7

Min.DRAM - 128 M and flash - 32M

2.c3640-jk9s-mz.122-2.XT3

Min.DRAM - 100 M and flash - 32M

You can load any one of the ios, it supports all the modules.

These IOS requires only 64 Mb DRAM and 16Mb flash.
