3800 service-module session won't connect

I always have problems with this when configuring 3845s with a Switching module.

From what I understand, you just need to IP the interface gi2/0, and you're good to go, but I keep getting this:

mdf-rt-01#service-module gi2/0 session

Trying 10.52.240.1, 2130 ...

Here is relevant config:

interface GigabitEthernet0/0

description $ETH-LAN$$ETH-SW-LAUNCH$$INTF-INFO-GE 0/0$

no ip address

shutdown

duplex auto

speed auto

media-type rj45

interface GigabitEthernet2/0

description INTERNAL_ETHERNET_SWITCH_MODULE

ip address 10.52.240.1 255.255.240.0

ip verify unicast source reachable-via rx allow-default

ip helper-address 10.128.5.59

ip helper-address 10.128.5.50

no ip redirects

no ip unreachables

ip nbar protocol-discovery

ip pim sparse-mode

Try removing all the config on Gig 2/0 (default interface Gig 2/0) and just put the IP address.
