3825 failure - doesn't seem to boot

Hello,

I have a remote customer who is having issues with their 3825 router - since I can't be on site troubleshooting is difficult but so far all that seems to happen when the device is powered on is the "SYS PWR" light goes solid green, and no other lights come on. Fans seem to be operating normally. Console access doesn't appear to be working.

Any thoughts or is this device DOA?

Hi Rob,

Did you resolve this I have a 3825 with the same issue only SYS Power Led is on and no console. The router seems to missing the rommon image.

Any one have any ideas on how to resolve this.

Hi Dan,

No I was not able to resolve this. Since the device was second-hand we did not try and contact TAC or RMA the device. I was going to replace the power supply when I had a chance but in the mean time we just replaced the router.
