3825 Live Insertion

I have a 3825 w/ (1) VWIC-2MFT-T1 installed already. I need to install a 2nd VWIC and am questioning if I am able to insert the card while the router is in production or if a shutdown is required. Any advice?

I'm afraid 3800s don't support OIR or hot swap of WIC. You need to power off the router to do that.
