ok thanks this router has 2 usb port can i copy the ios to one usb and then to the compac flash

It is possible if the ROMmon of the 3800 was upgraded, however, I don't believe this has been done.

How about ejecting the CF, find a multi-card reader and connect to a computer with USB.  And then copy the IOS from the computer to the CF.

which shold i copy

That's not my call.  It's your router.  It's your network.  Read the Release Notes and make that decision.

(However, if I was to choose among the three, I'd go for M9.)

also what are the procedures to install a new ios

As long as there is only one IOS in the CF then the router will boot the first valid IOS it will find.

The image you are trying to boot from is not compatible with your hardware.

ok what ios version do you recommend for my router

2 33203200 -rw- c3745-adventerprisek9_ivs-mz.124-2.T5.bin

The router is a 3825 but someone is forcing the router to boot an IOS for a 3745.  But the CF doesn't have the old IOS for the 3825, the router then boots into ROMmon.

ok thanks this router has 2 usb port can i copy the ios to one usb and then to the compac flash ?. what do you recommend...

ok i did that...deleted the c3745 ios from CF..now im going to copy a  new compatible ios but which should i copy ( i have access to this ios  ) :

c3825-adventerprisek9-mz.151-4.M9

c3825-adventerprisek9-mz.151-4.M5

c3825-adventerprisek9-mz.151-4.M3

... also what are the procedures to install a new ios...( boot statements ?,Save configuration changes ?.) thanks
