hi all,
we've got some few old routers that will be replaced to a 3925 router.
my question is, are the old cards PA-MC-8TE1+ (from 7206VXR) and VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 (from 2911) compatible to VWIC3-2MFT-T1/E1=

Hi John,
The VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 can be used on the 3925, but the PA-MC-8TE1+ can't.
see link below for module support on !SR 2 routers.

hi,
i understand that either VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 or VWIC3-2MFT-T1/E1 can be used on a 3925.
how about the E1 circuits on a 7206VXR using PA-MC-8TE1+? if we replace 7206 with 3925, can the E1s use either VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 or VWIC3-2MFT-T1/E1as well?
also, can someone tell what's the difference between VWIC3-2MFT-T1/E1 and VWIC3-2MFT-G703?

John,
yes The E1s can use the VWIC3-2MFT-T1/E1
as far as differences between VWIC3-2MFT-T1/E1 and VWIC3-2MFT-G703
its all about the type of interface from your Provider. I know when we put gear into China we had to use G703 interfaces as that is what was provided.
