Your CF in Slot1 is not formated properly.

If you have a multi-card reader, format this with FAT16, copy the IOS into the CF and try again.

thank u for reply

can u plz tell me which cause that was happend like that because which was running for a long time good

condition but suddenly .

because as per my knowledge ,when that was good condition all configuration which is loaded in ram from flash card ,until then router restated this problem was not happend ?

I am not sure.  By default, your CF should be in Slot 0, but in your case, the CF is in Slot 1.  So some human life form has taken what was in Slot 0 and something, instead, was used in Slot 1.  Could be a third-party (and un-supported) CF in Slot 1.  I don't know as I'm not there.

Yes you are right, what happened when this problem came i thought it may be problem in slot0 so that i manually changed to slot1.

   i am not sure plz tell me this  one point ,

Example:-if i erase flash card or problem in flash card, it never gives me error until then i restart the router. Because all my configuration and ios is loaded in ram?

but my case router is in rommon mode and flash card is empty, then i restarted the router but same result. so i changed flash card in another slot but same output.

And i connected a flash card in my system. card is working and no configuration files (empty) in flash card.

Example:-if i erase flash card or problem in flash card, it never gives me error until then i restart the router. Because all my configuration and ios is loaded in ram?

but my case router is in rommon mode and flash card is empty, then i restarted the router but same result. so i changed flash card in another slot but same output.

Let me get this straight ... You ERASED all the contents of your CF?

If the answer to this is "yes" then your router is responding (by booting into ROMmon) as "normal".  The router can't find a valid IOS therefore it goes into ROMmon.

Now if you want to load the IOS back, there are several ways of doing this.

1.  Eject the CF and copy the IOS from the PC into the CF;

2.  Boot the IOS from a supported USB thumb drive;

3.  TFTPdnld; or

4.  Xmodem

Your choice.

   with this above info-

 i came to know that "router need a ios only one time when router booting". when router found ios ,although any one deleted or problem in flash card, router never goes to rommon mode until i restart or power off

    thanks a lot for your replay.
