4 CISCO HWIC-1T 1-Port Serial or 2 HWIC-2T 2-PORT Serial Interface Cards

Hello Community,

I want to thank everybody for being so nice and helping me along my CCNA journey. 

My question today is , I am building a home lab and I am almost done. I am down to the serial interface cards. I have  2 1941 routers which require HWIC cards, and what I have found is that HWIC 2T 2 Port cards are expensive (well for me). On the other hand I have found some pretty inexpensive HWIC 1T 1Port cards. I am wondering would I get the same results if I  have 2 HWIC 2T 2 Port cards or 4 HWIC 1T 1 Port Cards.

Hi,
as per your explanation you have 1941 router. this router can have only 3 EHWIC cards. you cannot have 4 x 1T cards, but you can have 3 x 1T card if you are OK with 3 ports, or 1 x 2T card + 2 x 1T card if you needs 4 ports.
