4-port HWIC T1/E1 and Multilink config for 2911 router

GOAL: to add a 4 port WIC card to router and load balance the 4 T1's provided by ISP. I have never configured it before and I need someone to check my pre-configuration

1- INFO PROVIDED BY ISP

Configuration Details:

          IP Classless: in global configuration

          LBO: 0.0 (If cat 5 cable < 50 ft. (default in most units), if > next setting (7.5)

          Line Coding: B8ZS (Bipolar 8 zeros substitution)

          Net Signal: ESF (Extended Super Frame)

          Port Base Rate: 64K (1 ch = 56k or 64k each channel)

Equipment Information:

          Equipment Provider: Customer

          Installation Type: Tele-Install

          Timing: Net (from Network)

          Encapsulation: PPP

          Routing Protocol:BGPv4

          Port Speed:6000

          IP Address Block

           IP Address: 1.1.1.0/29

WAN Link Details:

         WAN Link IP Address:2.2.2.1

         WAN Link IPV4 Reference Address:N/A

        AR Serial INT IP Address:2.2.2.2

        CR Serial INT IP Address:2.2.2.3

        WAN Link Subnet Mask:255.255.255.252

2- MY PRE-CONFIGURATION

- Install the HWIC T1/E1 card

- When router comes, issue "show inventory" command: I should display the card, slot and subslot.

- let's assume is slot 0 and subslot 2. The following commands are issued:

Card type t1 0 2

3- QUESTIONS:

A- Should I be concerned about addding "clock source line" under controllers.? Is this info: "Timing: Net (from Network)", related to that?

B- Should I take into account the "LBO"-Line build-out- to configure under controllers, if needed, what is the command I used for that?

C- Is the routing protocol "BGPv4" turned on in the router by default? Do I need to enable it in the router?

D- Does the configuration look OK?

D. Even if it 'looks' OK it mus be then be tested and possibly adjusted.

Thanks for the quickest reply I have experienced since posting to this forum. I am not even able to turn the router on at this moment. I am just assuming is going to be this way, based on some reading over CISCO documents.

On question "A", which additional argument would you add to "clock source line ........." in this case?

I am concerned about installing the card and not showing up, Is there any "gotcha" in that step-card installation-?

Also configure network-clock-participate and network-clock-select.

No need to be concerned about things that have not happened yet.

Good point Paolo about being concerned ahead of time.

Now based on your last info, would it look lis this?:

network-clock commands are global, and will specify the T1 interface,

When in doubt, you can search documentaion, or forum.

And can you show the sample configuration about E1 with HWIC 4ESW modules in cisco 2911 router ? if you have time, pls reply me you....
