4507R-E and SUP7-E vss deployment

 i tried  deploying  a vss with two 4507R--E and two SUP7-E, one of the 4507-E  has ipbase license,another one has enterprise services ,but i failed in the deployment,dual-active  formed in the vss,i dont know if i have to use the same license on each switch.  i have checked the configurations,the basic vss configurations and VSL configurations are  the same.

It will work with ipbase or enterprise IOS.

You'll need the same IOS version (ent, ipbase, etc) on both devices to do vss.

im sorry,im not clear about your idea,so did  you mean that i have to make sure both of the two switchs have the same level license? or it's not necessary。 thanks again.

Both chassis should be the same IOS and the same feature set.  It's mandatory.
