4G LTE cards - can I force attachment to a given cell site?

Hi, I am experimenting with 4G LTE cards - both EHWIC-4G-LTE-GB and C887VAG-4G

The result of sh cell x radio gives me the following information about both the cell site the radio is attached to, and tells me three cell sites are detected and usable:

Idx          PCI (Physical Cell Id)

---------------------------

1                 252

2                 236

3                 334

I know that you can carry out a PLMN scan to detect all available networks and radio technologies, and can manually tell the modem to attach to a particular one of these (or use force mode, or auto). What I would also like to do is tell the modem to attach to a particular one of the three cells above - is this possible? I can't find any info on this...

Cheers, Bill

Hi and thanks... These commands force attachment to a particular carrier, as far as I can see - but I don't think they will force attachment to a particular cell site?

Cheers!

                         - I don't think the 4g-protocol has support for that,
