Hi Aman ,

1.First check whether is there any ios showing in run.

i.e boot system flash disk2:ios.bin

2.Then try to add the following commands to boot router using second image.

no boot system flash disk2:ios.bin ( first image)

boot system flash disk2:ios.bin (2'nd image)

reload the router using reload command and save the modified confiuration then type 'yes'.

Router will be booted using 2'nd image which is in disk2.

before that check the images using 'sh disk2' command and while giving the 'boot system flash ' type the correct image name.

Thanks,

satish

DearSir,

I had tried the same procedure but does not seem to working.

I am attaching file which shows what exactly is happening.

Hi Aman,

Use the followig commands.

no boot system flash disk2:c7200-is-mz.122-40.bin

boot system flash disk2:c7200-ik9s-mz.123-19.bin

save the system configuration before reloading the router.

If possible paste the 'sh version' and 'sh log'of the router.

Thx

satish

I have a question. Would disk2 be in SLOT1 and not SLOT0 and would this physically be the BOTTOM slot on the router.?

This always confuses me.......

Disk1 is slot0: and disk2 is slot1:

So we can always assume that disk 1 will be in physical slot0 and disk 2 in physical slot1......right?

yes, you are right.

Thanks so much for the help everyone. Appreciated.
