7507 GEIP+ VIP4-80 - Microcode Issue

HI,

Running into an issue trying to install a GEIP+ card into a 7507 running IOS 12.4(25) Service Provider, with RSP4's.

The following error is displayed:

Hello Scott,

try to reseat the GEIP+ it may be not well placed in 7500 bus and all the other messages come from this.

if you have another empty slot I would try also in another slot.

Sometimes it is even possible to hung a C7500 when the insertion is not correct.

However, RSP4 supports GEIP+ we had two installed in C7507 chassis.

Performance are not very good.

Don't expect full rate capabilities
