Hi,
At home I have a Cisco 877W and want to calculate how much we download a month as my ISP can't and I want to see if I can reduce my tariff.
At work I use Netflow on a server as it is always on, I thouht about using netflow on my laptop, but I'm not the only user at home who has a laptop. Can the router do some calculations?
Otherwise I'm not sure how I can capture my household usage.
Thanks

If your ISP cannot tell you how much you are d/l - then how can they impose tariff limits, and sell tariff based services; this sounds like a case for the Office of Fair Trading.
I think the 877 will only gather interface stats over a 5 minute period (typically) You need to monitor the device from a system that can collect the interface stats.
There are several - personally I use Cacti.

I've just downloaded Cacti, looks good from their website, I've downloaded the files, however their install instructions aren't the best I will battle on.
Thanks
