Access based on ip address

Hello,

I need to find a way to limit access based on IP address what I mean by this is if for example if one is connected to a schools network and as such has access to all the things that the school may offer simply by being connected to it. On the other had suppose there is a guest access at that school but one cannot get the benefits of one connected to the main network and simply has internet access. I currently have 2 different SSID with different network addresses and they assigned different ranges of IP address to the devices that connect to them. Is this enough to achieve the scenario I mentioned before or is there more I need to do?

I'm using a cisco 1941w router with no network switch

thank you

If your guest wireless in on a different IP subnet, you should be able to use ACLs to control what hosts from that subnet may access.
