Hello
There are some links in cisco site (like downloads) that require a user name and password. Anyway when these are given the access is denied.
I would like to know how does it work so somebody may obtain access? Do i have to enter some code of some cisco product i have obtained or do i have to have some cisco certification?
regards

Hi
You have certain conditions which you require to full fill to get the ids with full access to the CCO site.
If you have done your CCIE then you can have the access to the site with necessary privileges.
Also if you are a working with a partner of cisco and with Valid Purchase or Sales Order Number and Customer Number.

While having CCIE certification can be used to get a CCO ID and access to most of the site, I believe that it does not include access to parts like the software download pages.
To download code you must have a CCO ID based on a service contract on equipment from Cisco or provided through one of the Cisco partners or resellers.
