Dear All,
is the ASR 1001 either with IDC OC3 or T3 support VPLS and what is the limitation, what is exactly support is it full functionality of VPLS?.

VPLS is available with 3.5S and later, please refer to the documentation for more information:

That documentation assumes that you can create a VLAN interface on an ASR 1001 or 1002. I have both and you cannot create them. Another post mentioned doing a BDI interface but you still do not get the xconnect vfi for an attachment point.

hi what do you mean that we can not create VLAN on the build in 4XGE interfaces in ASR1002,Please advise?

hi ,can we configure VLAN on the built in GE in ASR1002 and ASR1001 ,Can have subinterfacees on the built in GE interfaces and also configure Dot.1q for each customer with VRF on the subunterface,? also can we configure Xconnect for each customer on the subinterface (vlan, dot.1q)?
