ASR 1001-X QOS queuing LLQ against parent and sub interface.

Hi,

I have an ASR 1001-X with a WAN interface handing off to the service provider.

The interface has multiple sub-interfaces which are VRF's providing multiple network segments.

We are finding that when a sub interface Gi0/0/0.10 is consuming all bandwidth from the parent interface Gi0/0/0, the EF data seems to be getting ignored (in the form of poor voice performance and output drops).

We have a policy-map applied to the parent interface Gi0/0/0 but none against the sub-interfaces.

Am I correct in thinking this is the reason for the EF traffic being dropped? If so how do I go about providing LLQ which is policed to 200Mbps for the Voice traffic on the Parent interface when the sub interface is under load?

Thanks

Paul

Hello,

indeed you need to apply the service policy to each subinterface. Can you post what you have configured so far ?
