Ok so i have one ASR (ASR1) that have 10GEupgradelicense and other features using traditional licenseing way. another ASR (ASR2) have smart licensing method and have 24 1G-4 10G temporary license.
I have requset from licening team to re host 10GEupgradelicense from ASR1 To ASR2 , they have applied our requsest and send .lic
now i have some inquires as below
- I want to disable smart licensing on new ASR then upload license traditionally to it does this applicable and does it need reload ?
- If I kept smart license on new ASR and upload license using cli traditionally. would it work and also does it need reload?
UPDATES:
i have disabled smart licensing and added lic file through TFTP then reloaded 920 and it worked.
