Hi I am planning an upgrade from ASR1002 IOS 3.16 to RP3 16.5 ASR1006-X Chassis and ESP-100. I didn't find tho if the LNS/LAC PPPoE configurations are supported . I did find an article about configuring it on the asr1k - > https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/asr1000/configuration/guide/chassis/asr1000-software-config-guide/scaling-asr.html here and there is also information about the sessions that are supported with RP2, but no information about the RP3 and also the resource is fairly old. I would be happy if someone could point me to a fresher article with the current IOSes . I hope LNS/LAC is supported ( because in the asr9k it isnt ... ). And another question : is the 16.5 XE interface and commands different than the 3.16 ? I am asking because the asr9k is a lot more different and I would like to know if there is a huge difference between the 3.16 that i currently have and the 16.5.
