We have a remote site that has a primary WAN link via a DS1 and a 512kb backup link via satty. Routing is via eigrp and the DS1 is the primary link, however we have been experiencing a lot of errors on the link that impair service. The errors are not enough to drop the link so traffic never routes across the backup, but the errors are enough to make life miserable for the users. Is there any method for having the router detect a certain error threshold and force traffic through the back-up 512kb link? I was hoping some kind a linking of IP SLA and route-maps?
