Hi i am quite embarrased to ask but can anybody tell how do we resolve the dns of an ip address in our private network.. eg...10.X.X.XX .

you would need an internal dns server to resolve the names to ips this could be a server or a router/switch witht he correct software
or add entrys in the hosts file on your PC
