bfd preferred mode

Hi fellows,

I read on some documents that bfd echo mode is preferred over async mode but couldn't find the reason ? Anyone please tell me.

Hi

BFD with Asynchronous mode support Echo and non Echo mode. I dont know separate BFD echo mode...

Echo mode is more recommended due to fact that it will include forwarding path and so that it will send control packets at  high interval says 2 sec - reduce CPU on controlplane and thus more scalable...
