hi team,
Currently, I have 4 routers connected
site 1: 2 of them in one site are running iBGP
site 1: 2 of them formed eBGP
same as site 2:
site 2: 2 routers are connected between them iBGP
site 2: 2 routers are connected via eBGP
between the sites are HSRP and forming a full mesh of iBGP
there is a link between each secondary router at each site and the idea is that if primary path fails, HSRP takes action and send the traffic to secondary path via eBGP
what I want is to remove the HSRP formed between the 4 routers and put a VC with OSPF to replace the backdoor link which is a trunk passing the vlans of the HSRP
my idea is to leave the eBGP put new loopbacks sources and form OSPF between the VC sites and redistribute the bgp (some prefixes) to ospf so there will have full connectivity between sites
so the goal is to remove internal bgp and leave it to OSPF,
i have been studying this case for a week and Im struggling a the config level what I have to do,
I would really appreciate any help
someone can help me please I can upload some where the files if you need to check them and help me with the config?
you will go to heaven if you do that
