Hi,
does anyone know what is the maximum allowed number of BGP sessions on Cisco platforms sup720 BXL and 7200 G2?
Particulaty what are these numbers if BGPsessions are under MPLS vrf (i.e. muximum number of BGP session per vrf?)
Thanks in advance,
A.

What are you trying to do?
Do you want to know how many peers you can have?

Yes, I am considering an network solution which include a lot of BGP peers under MPLS vrf (and this number will defenitly increase in future) so I need to know if I'll soon reach the maxium.
I'm loooking for limitations of mentioned hardver platforms regarding the maximum BGP peers or sessions under vrf.
And whether this limitation exists due to hardver or maybe there is limitation in MPLS itself (Some say that MPLS as a protocol has this limitation inherenty)?
regards,
A
