I've noticed in IOS 15.x routers, community strings are getting converted to decimal after being entered:
Router(config)#route-map BGP per 10
Router(config-route-map)#set community 65535:12345
Router(config-route-map)#do show route-map BGP
route-map BGP, permit, sequence 10
Match clauses:
Set clauses:
community 4294914105
Policy routing matches: 0 packets, 0 bytes
Is there a setting that will keep them as strings, just as entered? That's what our older routers running 12.x do.

can you configure "ip bgp-community new-format" in global config. seems you are missing this config.
