BGP in Real Life / Real Scenarios

I am reading for BGP,and understand almost everything

But it is not clear for me
WHEN / WHY we should use BGP
Can you tell me REAL LIFE SCENARIOS for BGP?
What BGP can do , and OSPF/BGP cannot?

Please don't reply like : BGP IS FOR SIP for something like this.I need real scenarios where we exactly need BGP.
