Hello everyone please forgive my ignorance, I feel like I should know this information.
Please refer to the attached PDF for network details. My scenario
In this given region, we have PTP links for backup access via another site for our MPLS WAN. We run BGP between with MPLS WAN and our Core router. We would like to use EIGRP for intra regional routing.
My question:
When a route that is learned from the BGP cloud is redistributed into EIGRP and then passed to another site and redistributed back into BGP, does AD matter on which routes are redistributed or will the redistributed routes all go into BGP and have an AS of 1?

AD matters but ideally, you should implement route-tagging to avoid such situation.

Hi Edison - Thanks for the reply.
How would I use the route tags? The routes learned via BGP to EIGRP to BGP are necessary if that sites MPLS link fails.
