Why is ibgp next-hop changed when i used maximum path command ?

Because you can only send one next-hop to your iBGP peers, despite the fact that you might select more than one eBGP next-hop. Therefore the right thing to do is to set the next hop to self in this scenario.

So , BGP ,itself, changes the next hop ip without making any configuration .
