Hello All,
Can someone tell me if I can bundle 2x2MB E1/T1 cards to get one on cisco 2900 series router. We have purchased 4MB speed from the ISP so we need a device that we can use in other to maximise what we have paid for.
Is it possibe to use 2900 series router to achive this? If yes, which of the 2900 series router can achive this. I know 7500 series router can do what I want but we need to go for lower model because of budget contraint.
I will appreciate any urgent reply.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Yes you can bundle the E1 interfaces.
You would need to use PPP multilink

Or Frame with multilink
How is the ISP expecting you connect the E1s - What protocol etc

If the other end is a provider and wont support either of the multilink features you could use IP load balancing in the egress direction and NAT to force traffic back on different links in the ingress direction
