Hi,
I have a Catalyst 4500 L3 Switch Software (cat4500e-ENTSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.2(50)SG2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)
cisco WS-C4503-E (MPC8548) processor (revision 6) with 524288K bytes of memory.
Processor board ID SPE122000UX
MPC8548 CPU at 1.33GHz, Supervisor 6-E
Last reset from PowerUp
22 Virtual Ethernet interfaces
52 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces
2 Ten Gigabit Ethernet interfaces
511K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.
!
Configuration register is 0x2102
When I try to save any changes in the configuration sent me this message:
"4503_PRI#wr
Building configuration...
% String too long to write to nvram (2133):Compressed configuration from 33363 bytes to 11288 bytes[OK]
4503_PRI#
Can anyone help me with this?

Add more memory to the device as the IOS NVGEN enhancement feature introduced with the command "parser config cache interface" requires a lot of memory.
A short-term workaround until additional memory is installed is to disable this feature as shown below.
Router#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Router(config)#no parser config cache interface
Router(config)#end
Router#clear parser cache
Clearing parser cache...

The workaround is a solution that apllies for a CSCsd45386 Bug , but this bug refers to routers this Bug also applies to Swiches 4500?
