Hello All!
Suppose my Cisco 3925E router is connected to 2 ISPs via 2 tagged VLANs on one physical interface. It works with one provider normally. Is it possible to configure the router without BGP so that it will change over to the second provider if the current one fails?

Hi!
I think a mix of IP SLA + object tracking configuration would do the magic here.
HTH,
Ivan.

Sure in many different ways, simplest is two static routes with different admin distance , more advanced is ip sla using object tracking

static default with tuned AD will just black-hole the traffic after the main ISP has failed, as it doesn't have a clue about the remote end's status.
