Cisco 1905 router, Ipsec license

Hello every

One of my client has asked a question regarding Ipsec license on Cisco 1905 router without smart licensing, they still are using classic/legacy method.

So my client is not being able to upload the licence, he wanted to know if this router supports traditional/legacy licensing or not.

Hello,

Smart Licensing is a method of licensing that is enforced starting from IOS-XE 16.10.1a

Since your router is running IOS, it should run with the traditional way of licensing.

so the latest IOS for this router is 15.x, so does this mean will this router support smart licensing or smart?
