Heip,

Here is the answer to your issue:

WIC Slot 2:
1 Port Gigabit Ethernet SFP/Copper EHWIC
WIC module not supported/disabled in this slot
PCB Serial Number : FOC20133QX2

...

Sorry, but this WIC isn't supported in the router.

Joe

Do you know if this card will support other slot like 0, 1 or 3? If not can you tell me which card will support fru or part number. If you can provide me a link for the card.

As i was pointed this module EHWIC-1GE-SFP-CU is not support for your device 2811

Do you know which module or wic card will support this router.

EHWIC-1GE-SFP-CU is only compatible with the ISR G2.  The 2811 is an ISR G1.

For a ISR G1, you need to look at HWIC-1GE, however, you need to pay attention to the Data Sheet (Table 3) because there is a limit of how many HWIC-1GE is supported.

It is also very important to note that a 2811 does not have the CPU to push beyond 61.44 Mbps.

"It is also very important to note that a 2811 does not have the CPU to push beyond 61.44 Mbps."

NB: I believe Leo is quoting from Cisco's old router performance white paper. That paper figures Mbps by "Mbps calculated by pps * 64bytes * 8bits/byte". Mbps will go higher, usually much higher, as packet size increases although also usual that the device will not be able to obtain the same maximum PPS for larger IP packets.

That noted, the 2811 (nor any of the 2K or 3K series of ISRs is really a gig capable router).

Do you know what is the part or fru number for this module. So I can get a quote from our vendor.

Thx,

As suggested all the replies, your 2811 not capable of taking Gig port, what module you looking to buy ?

if you looking gig capabilities, you need to get upgrade from 2811 to next level which can offer Gig port.
