Cisco 2901 empty slot/module available

good day cisco pros - i have a little prob. and i cant seem to find my answer, long story short, i need to install a HWIC card on one of our routers for additional connection changes, my problem is - as many i work remotely and have no way to tell if the router has available slots left for additional module - how can i find that info? sh inv only tells what already there, i need to now if i have room...

1. Post the complete output to the command "sh inventory".
2. Read the Data Sheet of the NME because it will specify the minimum IOS (and Train) required by the router.
3. Read the Release Notes to make sure that you're not going to hit any bugs mentioned in the Release Notes.

2. Count the number of HWICs and/or EHWICs from sh inventory output.
