Cisco 3560x series switch

           Hi ,

i have cisco 3560x 24 port switch  series switch i have installed C3KX-NM-10G module on same switch

Problem :

when i connect SFP on G1,G3,G4/te2 ports are not active

only G2/te1 is active but when i connect same module and SFP on other Same Model 48 port switch SFP and module are working

my requirement is

one port is connect to 48 port switch for uplink and another is going to LIU

pls guide how to make all ports active on 24 port switch.

beacuse Termination of  LIU and uplink both we reuire on 24 port switch.

Hi,

when you use the module C3KX-NM-10G on switch 3560x the ports that you can use are a conbination of:

G1,G2,G3,G4 with sfp at 1 G or

G1,G2 with sfp at 1G and Te2 with sfp+ 10G  or

Te1 with sfp+ at 10G and G3,G4 with sfp at 1G or

Te1 with sfp+ 10G and Te2 with sfp+ at 10G

You can choose the conbination above.

You cannot use G1 and Te1 or G3 and Te2 at the same time
