We configured two 4500E switches in VSS mode. Only one supervisor working each one of them. When we remove the fiber cable between switches VSL become down and each switch working standalone. It's good. We' re connected two switches over 10 Gig line cards, not over the supervisors. But while VSS is working if we unplug the supervisor module, line cards connections lost and when we plug the supervisor, the switch is rebooting. What we can do for preserve connections between two chassis.
