In Australia here, the big Telco has just allowed home users to have 8M adsl connections. I've taken up a 8M/384K ADSL plan and can not get sync using my Cisco 827.
I've tested with various modems already like the Netcomm NB5, Netcomm NB4, Netcomm 1300, Siemens Speedstream, Alcatel Speedtouch Home and they all sync up fine.
My cisco 827 is running the latest IOS, version 12.3.21 (ip plus) with 24M of memory.
Any ideas why the 827 isn't syncing up given that all the other modems I've tried have? I've tried another 827 and that doesn't sync up as well.
