cisco 861 router

Hey all,

Want to know everyone's thoughts on getting a cisco 861 for home / lab uses.

I'm currently in school for CCNA and have a cisco 2620XM that i have been messing with.  I would like to get something newer and found the 861 within an affordable price range.

Hi,

For CCNA any router from 1700 onward is ok but you can also practice routing features with GNS3.

But for real life a 800 serie is great because it has a built-in switch and so you'll learn interesting things with it.
