Hello,

do you have the PoE card installed ? Also, I think you need a 48-V external power supply, which is an optional item when you order the router...

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/access/800/860-880-890/hardware/installation/memory/880FRU.html

No i do not have a card installed , but it is starange this router does not have power input for POE hawever if look to the picure i attached you see that cisco say the port F0 an F1 support POE

Output shows no PoE daughtercard (800-IL-PM-2).

yes I agree but this a c881-K9 router not c881SRST-K9.

in C881SRST-K9 we have that card and also a second power input for the POE

but for the model C881-K9 we have only 12v input

If you purchase the 800-IL-PM-2, the 150w power supply will be included.

I opened the router and mounted the card , but the router get stuck on the stage bellow and never starts until i removed the card .

What card was installed????

this is the card we used

NAME: "ESW Power Daughter Card", DESCR: "4-Port ESW Power Daughter Card"
PID: 800-IL-PM-2 , VID: V01 , SN: FOC14026UVM

it works properly on the model C881 SRST-K9 attached in picture .

however the model C881-K9 could not boot even with it  as mentioned in last post.

in pictures bellow you can see on the rare of the routers that C881 SRST-K9 have 2 power input  one 12v and the other for POE. while C881-K9 has only one .

my question is this model C881-K9 supports POE and if yes what it the card that we should purchase .

thanck you in advence

It looks like the router on the bottom do not support PoE, whether the daughter card is installed or not.

Yes i think so , but cisco tells it supports ,and you can see on ports F0an F1 that is writen POE.

Look at the front. The top has "PoE" LED slots. The one on the bottom doesn't. This means the one on the bottom doesn't support PoE.

I am afraid even the C881-K9 has the POE leds in the front .
