Cisco RV325 - VPN IPSec Remote Security Group Type

Welcome,

I`m posting an issue here , about IPSec connection between two RV325 Cisco Routers.

We have IPSec tunnel between two locations with configuration as indicated in attached file.

The problem is , that after some time ( it`s not constant , sometimes it takes 2 days ,other time few hours ) we lose tunnel , but device states that is "Connected".

Pings are not working to other subnet.

To get it back , i need to use disconnect button on main VPN panel , but it doesnt work at first time. After page refresh i still get option to disconnect,

and after clicking it i get "Connect" option , which sets IPSEC connection online.

This problem does not occur when we use "Subnet" option , but it doesn`t provide us access to VLAN`s on other end of the tunnel.

Any hints how to resolve this issue ?

Hi tomasz.lipinski,

I see the attachment you are using "local security group type" as a "subnet" but "remote security group type" as a "IP range". But are these settings at the remote end?

I guess it will be easier if i post you my local and remote configuration ;)
