Dear Concern,
I have hp switch with HP X121 1G SFP LC SX Transceiver part no. J4858C and we would like to connect it to
CISCO switch with GLC-SX-MM.
I would like to know whether they are compatible or not.

Hello Shihab,
they should be compatible as both transceivers are SX.
Use a multimode fiber pair and connect TX sideA to RX sideB and RX sideA to TX sideB.
