Cisco3845 with TokenRing Card upgrade to Cisco3945

Hi,

I presently using a Cisco3845 router to terminate a WAN connection.  The router is coming end of support starting Oct. 2016 and I need to start looking into a replacement router.  I was looking into the Cisco3945, but I can't find anywhere that the NM TokenRing card (NM-1FE1R2W) is support on that model.  I have time to replace the Cisco3845 routers, but I need to start looking into options.

Does anyone know if the NM-1FE1R2W is supported on the Cisco3945 router?  If not, what other routers will support TokenRing that are not going end-of-support/end-of-life in the next year or so?

Thanks,

Gabi

Did you get an answer to this?  I have the exact same issue..

Token Ring Connections

Token Ring, shielded

DB-9

Token Ring lobe cable, shielded STP

NM-1E1R2W
NM-1FE1R2W
NM-1FE1R2W-V2

Token Ring, unshielded

RJ-45

Token Ring lobe cable, unshielded UTP

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/access/interfaces/nm/hardware/installation/guide/OvrNetM.html#34586

That's the Network Module in use today (well the NM-1FE1R2W) but I can't see that as an option to purchase along with the 3945 (cisco's suggested replacement router).

Hence wondering how I can keep Token Ring capability in a current Cisco platform, and why I responded to
